Universities and Pharmaceutical companies need volunteers so they can test the effectiveness of new medicines. These medicines are approved once they've been thoroughly tested. The demand for volunteers is incredibly high however volunteers are hard to come by. Universities and Pharmaceuticals now offer handsome compensation plans to attract test subjects for their drugs. The compensation package usually consists of a full medical, food and comfortable room, you also get a monetary compensation depending on how long you need to remain in the test area. Some drugs are being tested for $50 to $100 per day.


The National Institute of Health has over 300 studies that need test subjects, nearly all these clinical research projects have compensation plans and free medical. The best way to earn money is by signing up for as many of these Clinical Trials as possible. If you can sign up for two trails per week and each one pays $100 each you could make $800 per month which would supplement your income very nicely.

The test subjects must be healthy although sometimes unhealthy test subjects are required for specialist medication. Generally speaking the healthier you are the better chance you have of getting yourself accepted into more programs. If you're not in shape this could be the perfect opportunity to lose some weight and make some money at the same time.

This is not a get rich scheme, this is a legitimate way to supplement your income and it all depends on how much time you spend finding clinical trials. I would advise readers to build up slowly just to see how the body reacts. One of the downsides of being a clinical tester is you might have an adverse reaction to the drug. You need to be very careful when you consider the pros and cons of going forward.

So why not give medical testing a go? You have very little to lose apart from time although there is a small chance things could go wrong. The upside is you could earn up to $1000 per month and contribute towards the advancement of medicine.

Because of this I started a series of blog post titled I Want Money Right Now. In these posts I look at different ways to supplement income. The money making suggestions here are completely legitimate and you can make money as long as you put your mind to it. Members of the Amazon Turk program cam then accept these jobs. The worker is paid once the job is concluded to a satisfactory standard.

Before you start looking for assignments on the Amazon Turk Program it's worth checking to see if you're entitled to any financial help from the Government. Signing up for Amazons Mechanical Turk Program is relatively straightforward, you will not need any qualification and you'll be able to build experience and reputation once you've completed assignments. The Amazon Mechanical Turk Program is designed for businesses who want to outsource all of the mundane tasks which cannot be done easily using machines. There are hundreds of jobs posted every day and the payout ranged from free to $10. Once you've completed the job the money is credited to your Amazon account where you can withdraw the funds once it reaches $10.


This is not a get rich quick scheme. If you've got lots of spare time on your hands and want to supplement your income then this is the way to go. If you're in a job which requires you to sit around all day then you could do this on your employers time. If you're able to complete two $10 jobs every day then you could make $600 per month quite easily. These mundane jobs are very time consuming and it takes time to build experience and reputation. Once you've established yourself on Amazon Turks Mechanical program you will start to get accepted for higher paid jobs.

Amazons Mechanical Turk Program is fantastic if you want to supplement your income without any real skill or qualifications. If you do have a skill then you're better off freelancing on sites such as ODesk.com and Elance.com. Going forward you should sign up to all these programs and state all your skills, experience, and knowledge and then look for assignments. At first it will take time to familiarize yourself with all the processes and procedures. Once you've got several assignments under your belt you should feel confident, you'll also notice a steady flow of assignments coming your way. 

If you're desperate for money and you're doing all that you can and still have spare time available then these sites are the ticket. Rather than worrying about your financial circumstances it's better to take action and do something about it. By signing up to these programs there is a chance that you could earn $1000 per month eventually if you really put your mind do it. Just imagine what a difference $1000 could make.

While this blog may be about millionaires who give money away I still get mail from readers asking me if there are ways to make money really quickly. Due to popular demand I started a series of blog posts titled I Need Money Right Now, in these posts I share ideas on how to make money really quickly so individuals and low income households can supplement their earnings. All the ideas in these posts are viable ways to supplement your income so long as you put your mind to it.

Using your creative mind to make products is a fantastic way to supplement you income. Arts and crafts are always in demand as consumers seek a personal touch with the items they purchase. Consumers are also willing to pay a premium for these items as the quality is always better. 


If it does interest you to explore your creative side you should visit an arts and crafts site called Etsy.com. Etsy is a marketplace which connects people all over the world. You can buy hand made items that are crafted with care from all over the world.

Start by opening an account at Etsy and then research the site to see where the demand is. What you will find is that there is incredible demand for Art, Home and Living, Handmade Jewelry, Cloths, Scented Candles, Essential oils and much more.

Once you've found an item that sells well you need to consider the costs and time to create the item. If you're interested in creating candles that are scented with essential oils you need to know how to make candles, how to mix with essential oils, how to package and then how to send them abroad. 

Once you've set up the system all you have to do is make the items whenever an order comes in. Etsy is a great way to supplement your income especially if you're a creative person. If you can produce high quality items then demand will rise and it could turn into a full time earner where you're creating income from your hobby.

Depending on the demand and your output speed you could make a lot of money. If you can sell hand made scented candles for $10 and it costs $1 to make you have a margin of $9. If you can sell 100 of these scented candles per month you could earn up to $900. This is a incredibly quick and easy way to make money because there's high demand for crafted goods.

Compared to a decade ago more vehicles are on the road. The price of metal is soaring and there has never been a better time to recycle scrap metal for money. There are many individuals who are making a very good living by finding and then recycling scrap metal for money. If you're looking for a cash injection and need money right now recycling scrap metal could be the answer your looking for.

The types of scrap metal which are in demand include copper, aluminium, alloys and any other item that resembles metal. go throughout your house and find all these items and gather them together. I Need Money Right Now (5/25) – Return Purchases Within 28 Days

One point which I mention on all my posts is Government Assistance. If you’re experiencing financial hardship then the first point of contact should be the Government. What you will find is that they have assistance programs for unemployed, military people, elderly and disabled. They can help if you don’t have any food or a place to stay.

I Need Money Right Now – Return Purchases

If you have a sudden need for money one of the quickest ways to raise cash is by returning items that you’ve bought recently. Items can be returned within 28 days for a full refund. Look at all the items you’ve bought in the last 28 days and ask yourself whether you need all these items. If it’s essential items such as food then obviously it must stay however if it’s items of clothing, technology or any other non essential household items you should consider returning it.

If you’ve lost the receipt or taken the tag off you can still return the item. If the store refuses to give you a refund take a bank statement showing the purchase, this will be enough proof to get a full refund. In the unlikely event that you’re not offered a refund you should appeal to the manager’s sense of wellbeing and let them know that you’re experiencing hardship and you need the money urgently, make statements such as I desperately need money and I need financial help right now, this will compel the store to refund the items.

If you’ve purchased your items on credit cards it’s a good idea to return them. Although you won’t get cash injection by returning these items you bought on credit, at least you won’t have to repay the credit card at a later date.

Returning items is a great way to supplement your income. I recall several years ago when my Fridge broke down, I was determined not to go into debt so I returned some of the items I had bought that month. I returned all the clothes, gadgets and non essential items and was able to raise $150 which covered the costs of a small fridge freezer.

Going forward your priority should be to form an emergency fund which you can use when you need money urgently. If you can contribute $100 per month to this fund you’ll have $1200 per year which you can use to avoid getting into debt. You could also look for other ways to supplement your income so you have more money coming in.
